REBECCA'S MAY FULL MOON GREETINGS

Dahlins--

Oh my!  We were driving home tonight when my sweetie spotted La Luna.  She was behind the clouds, but he caught her light.  We pulled over into a friend's long drive here on the island, and watched as the clouds parted to reveal her luminous light.  "I give it all over to you, Moon Lady," I prayed.  "I put it in your lap.  My illness, my life, that which I have done and have not done, that which I have yet to do."  I hand it over.  We sat until the clouds covered her again.  And again, I was reminded: even though I cannot see her, she is there.  This is called faith.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you!  Remember: while Mother's Day is certainly a big celebration of those who have given birth to little infant humans, it is also a day for all of us.  For all of us give birth to something.  Every moment that we are awake, truly awake, we give birth to recognizing the beautiful of the moment.  And the moment is born in us.

Tomorrow, I hope to walk the Labyrinth in the evening with several other women.  I feel strong, but I know that even if I'm wobbly, the path is there.  Life, like the labyrinth, is not a maze.  It is the path.  We bow our heads and walk into the moment.
