April, 2007 Greetings
April 2, 2007
Dahlin Dears,
Oh
my, oh my, oh my, oh my! It has been a long time since I’ve written.
The grips of Lyme grew tighter in these past couple of months, and I
swear, I’ve felt your pinks and blues helping me through it all. I’m
slowly getting better, but please keep prayers beaming my way!
I
hope you are all flourishing as Spring brings us her evidence of new
life. The very first bouquet from our yard was presented to me on
Saturday. Daffodils, hyacinth, and I can’t remember what all else. What
I do know is that the sight of them in an old green vase (purchased at
garage sale years ago) gave me hope. Once, when I was down, way down in
the pits, someone wise said to me, "Hope is there. You just have to
reach up and hold onto it." I’ve never forgotten that. Well, yes, I
have forgotten it at times, but it keeps resurfacing when I need it
most.
The other good news is that I’m still at work on the new
book, and am growing very excited. Y’all know by now that I’m not the
fastest writer, but things are coming along, and I’m starting to dream
about the characters, which is always a sign that the novel is finding
its way closer to the core of me.
It’s getting late for this sleepy-time gal, so I’ll sign off now, with much love, and
84,000 Blessings,
Rebecca
